Roll-Off Dumpster Rental across Greater Danbury
Every job we do is a roll-off: an open-top container delivered by a specialized truck and rolled directly onto your driveway, property or job site. It is built for temporary use on projects that make a lot of debris, it takes both light waste such as furniture and yard debris and heavy material such as concrete, tile, roofing and drywall, and it comes in five sizes from 10 to 40 yards. It is the efficient answer when a project makes more waste than curbside pickup or repeated trips can handle. This page is about the box itself: the sizes, the weight, the space it needs and what the price covers.
The yard is at 243-247 Federal Rd, Brookfield, CT 06804 - on Federal Rd (US-202) in Brookfield, just north of Danbury. How a roll-off works
The truck backs in and sets the container on the spot you agreed. You load it over the open top, spreading the weight evenly and keeping debris level with or below the top rim - an overfilled dumpster cannot be transported safely. When you are done, call or text; the truck comes back, loads it and hauls it, often within 24 hours of your call. On the road, Connecticut requires every load to be built or loaded so none of it drops, sifts, leaks or escapes (CGS § 14-271(a)), and an open-top refuse container on a refuse truck of 5,000 lb or more has to be secured with a screen or other material with openings no bigger than two square inches (§ 14-271(c)).
Space is the thing to check before you book: a flat, solid surface such as a driveway, pad or pavement, clear access for the truck at delivery and pickup, and nothing blocking a sidewalk, mailbox or storm drain. Move vehicles and bins in advance, and if you will not be home, mark the spot. Our drivers position each dumpster for safe loading while avoiding sidewalks, landscaping and access points.
What the flat rate includes
Our flat rate covers delivery, pickup, disposal within the stated weight limit and the standard rental period of up to 7 days - typically 2 to 3 tons on a 10 yard, up to 5 to 6 on a 40. Typical dumpster rentals in Danbury range from $295 to $695, depending on the dumpster size, the type of debris, the delivery location and the length of the rental, which is why we quote each job rather than publish a price list. Two things can add to it: going over the included weight, where the overage is billed at a per-ton rate we tell you up front, and keeping the container past the rental period, which carries a small daily fee. There are no hidden pickup, fuel or delivery fees. Call (475) 256-5131 for a quote.

Roll-off rental in Greater Danbury - where the loads go
All waste is taken to licensed disposal and recycling facilities serving Fairfield County, and whenever possible materials such as concrete, metal and wood are separated for recycling. The rules set the rest. Connecticut law makes every hauler register each year in each town it collects in (CGS § 22a-220a(d)) and mark its truck doors with the business name and address (§ 22a-220a(e)). In the 14 member towns of the Housatonic Resources Recovery Authority (HRRA), a public regional authority (CGS § 7-273aa), HRRA's form says "Registration with the HRRA is deemed registration in the municipality", and HRRA policy wants the company name on each vehicle and roll-off. Monroe, Southbury and Woodbury are not HRRA members, so each sets its own rules. Connecticut law says no one may knowingly place a covered electronic device - computers, monitors, laptops and TVs - in a solid waste facility (CGS §§ 22a-636, 22a-629(5)), and a used lead-acid battery may not go in mixed municipal solid waste; it goes back to a retailer, a recycler or a town collection site (§ 22a-256g). The town transfer stations are resident drop-offs, not a home for a big job's debris. Bethel's takes no construction debris; Newtown's bars commercial vehicles and does not take concrete, mortar, brick or block; Redding's is for Redding residents only, with no commercial dumping; Roxbury bars collectors from bringing demolition debris (§ 11-10(A)(6)); Southbury's permits are for residents only; and Woodbury turns away businesses from outside town. Ridgefield's own page says residential projects over four cubic yards "should be managed with an onsite dumpster rental at the job site". Our what can and cannot go in guide says where the rest goes.

Roll-Off Dumpster Rental — your questions answered
Not covered here? Call (475) 256-5131 and ask.
What is a roll-off dumpster?
An open-top container that is delivered by a specialized truck and rolled directly onto your property. It is designed for temporary use on projects that make a lot of debris, and is picked up the same way when you are done. Front-load dumpsters are a different thing - they are for ongoing commercial trash service; we specialize in roll-offs for short-term and project work.
How full can I load it?
Keep debris level with or below the top rim. An overfilled dumpster cannot be transported safely. If you need more space, call and we arrange a swap or an extra container.
Do I need to be home for delivery or pickup?
No. As long as the dumpster is accessible and the area is clear, you do not need to be there. Mark the spot and text us a photo if that helps.
How quickly can you deliver?
Same-day or next-day across Danbury and nearby towns, when availability allows. Call before noon for the best chance of same-day service.
Can I not just take it to the transfer station myself?
For small household loads, sometimes - most town stations are resident drop-offs with permits. They are not built for a remodel: Bethel's takes no construction debris, Newtown's bars commercial vehicles and does not take concrete or brick, and Ridgefield's own page says residential projects over four cubic yards should use an onsite dumpster. A roll-off is the option when the job is more than a trunk-load.
What does a roll-off cost in Danbury?
Typical dumpster rentals in Danbury range from $295 to $695, depending on the dumpster size, the type of debris, the delivery location and the length of the rental. The quote is flat-rate, with no hidden pickup, fuel or delivery fees. Call (475) 256-5131 with the address and what is going in, and you will have one clear price before delivery.
